TP53TG5 may play a significant role in p53/TP53-mediating signaling pathway. It is highly expressed in heart, brain and small intestin. Less abundant in skeletal muscle, spleen, prostate, ovary and colon. A smaller transcript is expressed specifically in the testis. Function: May play a significant role in p53/TP53-mediating signaling pathway. Subunit: Interacts with p53/TP53. Subcellular Location: Cytoplasm. Nucleus. Note=Cell cycle dependent intracellular localization. Tissue Specificity: Highly expressed in heart, brain and small intestine. Less abundant in skeletal muscle, spleen, prostate, ovary and colon.
