Mex3d is a ubiquitously expressed protein. Due to alternative splicing events truncating the N-terminus, a variant form of Mex3d exists and is known as TINO. Function: RNA binding protein, may be involved in post-transcriptional regulatory mechanisms. Subcellular Location: Cytoplasm Nucleus Tissue Specificity: Ubiquitously expressed in all the cell lines and tissues tested.
